Born in Boulder, Colorado, Raquel discovered at three years old that music was her true passion. Fast forward ten years later and 13-year old Raquel Garcia has taken Denver’s music scene by a storm through her captivating voice, exceptional stage presence, and multilingual singing abilities. Raquel has been featured at many political events, festivals, and performed in musicals such as Secret Garden and Mary Poppins. She has received more than 200 recognitions, the latest being the Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Arts & Culture 2019, and is host of her own television show on Estrella TV and radio show on La Invasora 87.7 FM. Her singing style is melodic and vivacious with a heavy Spanish influence, she can sing in a variety of different languages such as English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, and Portuguese. At such a young age Raquel has accomplished so much, the future is so very bright for her as she continues to dive deeper into her musical career. Raquel serves as an inspiration for young teens to follow their dreams and never give up.
